Dr. Marina Rubin: Your Trusted Pediatrician and Medical Ally
Dr. Marina Rubin is a double board-certified pediatrician and pediatric emergency medicine specialist with over a decade of experience caring for thousands of children in hospital emergency rooms, clinics, and private practices.
As the Director of Pediatrics at HCA Kingwood in Houston, Texas, she leads with a commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient care while also mentoring residents in the HCA Emergency Medicine Residency program. Her dedication to personalized care and process improvement has earned her a respected reputation among colleagues and families alike.
Dr. Rubin’s journey began at Stern College of Yeshiva University in New York for her undergraduate studies, followed by medical school at the New York Program of Sackler School of Medicine. She completed her Pediatric Residency at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, NY, and a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of New Jersey in Newark. After her fellowship, she served as a transport physician with MD-1, facilitating medical evacuations nationally and internationally, before settling in Houston to join HCA Kingwood as a pediatric ED physician.
Beyond her medical expertise, Dr. Rubin is a mother of seven (soon to be eight), giving her a unique perspective that blends the science of pediatrics with the heart of parenting. This personal touch informs her mission to bridge the gap between emergency care and the real-life needs of families. As a partnering physician with Hatzalah Emergency Services and the founder of MDCare4U, a concierge pediatric service and mobile clinic-based practice serving Southwest Houston and surrounding communities, she provides accessible, compassionate care through a direct care model.
Dr. Rubin holds certifications in BLS, APLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, ATLS, and MTLS for IDF, ensuring she is equipped to handle a wide range of medical scenarios with confidence and care. Whether in the ER or through her concierge practice, her goal is to be the doctor families trust, turn to, and count on—especially during life’s most overwhelming moments.
